Mr. Bruce L Kenemer Obituary
Rocky Face, GA - In Loving Memory of Bruce Kenemer Age 73
With grateful hearts and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Bruce Kenemer, who entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 23,2026.
A humble and faithful follower of Jesus, Bruce lived a life marked by devotion to God, love for his family, and service to others. His steady faith guided him through every season of life and was evident in the kindness, integrity, and compassion he showed to all who knew him.
For many years, Bruce faithfully served his community as a juvenile probation officer. He approached his work with wisdom, patience, and genuine care, seeking to encourage and guide young people toward hope and a brighter future. He believed every person was worthy of dignity and grace, and he carried that conviction into both his professional and personal life.
An active member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, he loved his church family and found great joy in leading worship, fellowship, and serving alongside fellow believers. His life reflected a servant's heart, and he quietly sought opportunities to encourage others and point them toward Christ.
Above all else, Bruce treasured his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved bride, Otivia, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, faith, and treasured memories. Following Otivia's passing in January 2024, he carried her memory close to his heart and often spoke of the joy of being reunited with her one day in the presence of the Lord. Their marriage was a beautiful testimony of faithfulness, commitment, and enduring love.
He was a loving father and a proud grandfather whose greatest delight was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, attending family gatherings, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying everyday moments together, he cherished every opportunity to be with those he loved. His grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he leaves them a legacy of faith, character, and unconditional love.
Those who knew him will remember his humble spirit, servant's heart, quiet strength, and unwavering faith. He was a man who loved deeply, served faithfully, and left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know him.
Even in his final days, Bruce's greatest desire was not that attention be drawn to himself, but that Jesus Christ would be glorified. He often expressed his longing that, not only through his life but also through his death, others would see the faithfulness of God and the hope found in the Gospel. His life was a testimony to God's grace, and his prayer was that Christ would be most honored in every moment, including these.
Though his passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of his family and friends, they rejoice in the assurance that he is now in the presence of his Savior and reunited with his beloved Otivia. His legacy of faith, humility, love, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, D.L. and Laura Edna Kenemer, and his loving wife of 47 years, Otivia Kenemer; and his brother Keith Kenemer.
He is survived by his son, Ben Kenemer of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Drew Braswell of Canton; sisters, Karen Kenemer and Janis Harris; grandchildren, Rae and Morgan Kenemer, and Adalyn, Beckett, and Sully Braswell; and beloved daughter-in-law, Bethany Kenemer.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23
May his life be remembered with gratitude, his faith be celebrated with joy, and his memory remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
