Bonnie Gayle Barr Obituary

Cohutta, GA - Bonnie Gayle Barr, of Cohutta, Georgia, born August 31, 1942 died peacefully at home August 30,2025.

Bonnie never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who met her because of being so full of love for them.

Bonnie had many successful careers and businesses in her life, always working diligently to support her family.

She spent every other spare moment of her time, creating beautiful art in so many forms over the years and continued until just before leaving us. She loved Fellowship, Dancing, and Travel and always said yes to adventure!

She had a strong faith and brought joy to the children in her church (and everywhere) every chance she would get. She adored children.

She will be dearly missed by her family and her community.

She is survived by her only daughter Cathy Kott, grandson Justin and spouse Nicholle Kott, Granddaughter Molly Kott and spouse Tim Hoke and two Great Grandchildren Lillie Kott and Elliott Hoke.

Family and friends will gather to honor Bonnie and Celebrate her Beautiful Life with Love and Fellowship on Sept 20 from 11~2pm at her daughter's home, 5015 Cohutta Heights Dr., Cohutta, GA, 30710. In lieu of cut flowers please consider a perennial plant for her memory garden.
