MRS. BETTY JEAN MACON - Age 85, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024.
She is survived by her loving children, Tommy Anthony (Avis) Macon of Dallas, GA, Marcus (Annette) Macon, Timothy (Angela) Macon, Jerry Wayne Macon all of Dalton, GA and Chinita (Michael) Macon Hodo of Decatur, GA; grandchildren, Anthony Tyrone Macon, Hakeem Macon, Thomas (Scyler) Hodo and Sara Hodo; sister, Helen Harris of Rocky Face, GA; brother James (Pauline) Washington, Sr. of Dalton, GA; special niece, Coretha Weaver, a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Hopewell Baptist Church, 3527 Airport Rd SE, Dalton, GA 30721, with Elder Windell Smith, Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. and the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Willis Funeral Home. Interment; Hopewell Cemetery. Arrangements; Willis Funeral Home, Dalton, GA.
