Dalton, Georgia - It is with sadness that the family of Benjamin Whitman "Whit" Davies, announce his passing on July 10, 2026 at Regency Park in Dalton. Whit was an accomplished actor, musician, and early computer expert who will be deeply missed by his sons, grandchildren, brothers, extended family, and many friends.

Whit is the son of the late William Bruce Davies and Emily Lillian Hamilton Davies. He is survived by his sons Benjamin Conner Davies (Roxanne), William Whitman Davies (Sarah), and Roy Hamilton Davies (Cricket); grandchildren Lilly Davies Wood, Maggie Davies, Liam Davies, Jack Davies, Pax Davies, Jocelyn Brown, Andrew Sorrentino, Grayson Sorrentino; great grandchildren Levi Brown and Noah Brown. He is also survived by his brothers William Bruce Davies (Kitty), George Hamilton Davies (Bethany), Lane Hunt Davies (Crystal), and extended family.

The family will receive visitors at Love Funeral Home on Sunday, August 2nd, from 2 to 4 PM.
