Tennga, GA - Mrs. Barbara Helen Flatters, age 79, of Tennga, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Barbara was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tennga, GA. She loved to sew and shared her passion at Lana's Quilts.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Leroy Flatters; daughter, Angela D. Flatters; parents, Casey and Mollie Jones; siblings, Syble Jones, Kenneth Jones, and Bob Jones; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Edna and Warner Baxter, Donna and Noble Mantooth, and Janie Wilson.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Tina Flatters of Cisco, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jackie Jones and Pat Babb of Benton, TN, Charles and Brenda Jones of Cisco, GA, and Grace Stiles of Dalton, GA; sister, Sue Jones of Carrolton, GA; grandchildren, Kenneth Flatters, Lena Flatters-Smith, and Jason Scissom; nieces and nephews, Gary Jones, Allen Jones, Allison Silvers, Lesa Silvers, Jonathan Silvers, Karen Mantooth, Don Mantooth, Jacob Jones, Lisa Baxter, Joanne Baxter, Debbie Baxter, Sharon Baxter, Jennifer Baxter, Glenda Wilson, Brenda Wilson, and David Wilson.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Helen Flatters will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
