Dalton, Georgia - Anne "Jenny" Cunningham, age 86, of Dalton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Erlanger Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Leona Elliott; sister and brothers-in-law, Jeanne and Morg Robertson, and Bo Bandy.

Anne was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Five Springs Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Anne loved gardening and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. She also was a faithful servant of The Lord.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Max Cunningham; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Heidi Cunningham; daughter, Cindy Shaw; sister, Janet Bandy; brothers and sister-in-law, Ed Elliott, Ray and Brenda Elliott, and Sam Elliott; grandchildren, Reese and Taylor Shaw, Kyle Shaw, Lauren Cunningham, Gabe Cunningham, and Savannah Cunningham; 9 nieces and nephews, and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home at 4:00 PM with Rev. George Ross and Rev. Chris Branscomb officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25, from 2:00 PM until the service hour at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Five Springs Methodist Church
