Jojo William Herlitz, 49, of Marietta, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017.
He was born May 14, 1968, in Stamford, Conn., to parents Christina and Anders Herlitz.
Jojo was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of arts in communications. He was an avid UGA fan and loved playing golf at Atlanta Country Club. Jojo delighted in his family and was very involved in his children's interest and activities.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Herlitz, Marietta; daughter, Hannah Herlitz, Marietta; son, Andrew Herlitz, Marietta; parents, Anders and Christina Herlitz, Stockholm, Sweden; brother, Carl (Karen) Herlitz, Cambridge, Conn.; brothers-in-law, Gary Brown and David Brown, Dalton; sister-in-law, Susan Howe, Dalton; and an extensive and deep network of friends.
Visitation is at H.M. Patterson and Son Canton Hill on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Services are at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. A committal service will be at Arlington Memorial Park.
