Fred Holweger, 87, of Chattanooga, fell asleep in Jesus on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, in his home.
For 55 years he served Chatsworth as a dentist where he and his wife, Beverly, lived after he graduated from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, Calif., in 1957.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Beverly E. Holweger; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Jeri Holweger, Greer, S.C.; his daughters and sons-in law, Jerri and Mike Manlove, Chattanooga, and Holly and Greg Fowler, Grovetown; grandchildren, Stephanie and Terry Martin of Goshen, Ohio, Stacy and Louis Licht of Collegedale, Tenn., Heather and Jorge Garcia of Taylors, S.C., Molli and Matt Paige of Cleveland, Tenn., Katilyn and Joshua Watson of Anderson, Ind., Jillian and Jonathan Southard of Collegedale, Tenn., Gabriella and Geoffrey Fowler of Grovetown; nine great-grandchildren, Emily, Robert, Steven, Axel, Alle, Asher, Camden, Gabriel and Odette; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Karla Holweger of Hayes Kan., Gayle and Donna Holweger of Chatsworth; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life is Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Elder Errol Eder officiating.
