David "Cotton" Craig Catlett, 55, of Chickamauga, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017. He spent most of his life in the Chickamauga area and was of the Methodist Faith. He was a graduate of Gordon Lee Memorial High School, class of 1980, earned his degree as an electrical engineer from Southern Polytechnic College and was a business partner at System Concepts. Cotton was a loving son, brother and uncle, who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Claude Lewis; brother, Chuck Catlett; and special friend, Connie Loach
Cotton is survived by his mother, Donna Lewis; father, Charles P. Catlett; sisters, Noel Lewis (Dan) Pearce and Nichole Lewis; brothers, Chip (C.J.) Catlett and Cla Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday in Chickamauga City Cemetery with the Rev. Jennie Andone officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today and prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga.
