Van Doesburg died Friday, April 28, 2017, in Pensacola, Fla. His family gathered for a memorial service in Pensacola, Fla.
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Susan Doesburg; children, Lisa Doesburg, Eric (Kate) Doesburg and Lora (Stephen) Drapeau; five grandchildren, William Drapeau, Annabel Drapeau, Madeline Van Doesburg, Paikea Doesburg and Finn Doesburg; brother, Todd Doesburg; niece, Sue Cruz; other nieces and a nephew; and stepdad, Robert Procht.
His best accomplishment was a loving family.
He retired from Textile Rubber and Chemical Co. He loved working in his lab and working in Japan.
