We have known Steven's sister Anne and her family since the early 1990s at Calhoun 1st Presbyterian Church. We never had the chance to know her Dalton relatives, but assume they were just as warm and happy as all the Pitts are. Steve's picture is a wonderful way to remember him. Our hearts ache for all of you family and friends of Steve. We work with Anne now at CASA and we have enjoyed hearing more about her family. It's amazing to see how our Creator leads us as we create a mosaic of life. Certain people appear in and out of experiences, similar interests, laughter and trials. Those are the bright colors woven in the mosaic. Sometimes it takes awhile to see the beauty for some trials. But ...Treasure them as precious memories. Sweet Pops and family will see happier times in future sunrises and rainbows. Love you and share your sorrow now, with visions of insight and healing in the future as God has promised.Read more

So glad to spend quality time with uncle Steve at the Christmas gathering. Had fun with he and Aunt Mary. They had huge smiles on their faces and that is how we will remember uncle Steve. He was happy that everyone was there and together. He did love his family thats for sure. He will be missed greatly. We love you all and are hurting for you. Jeremiah and Christy
