Phillip Lamar Sumner


Phillip Lamar Sumner, age 68, of Cohutta, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Sumner and brother, Richard Sumner.
He is survived by wife, Vicki Sumner of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Mark Overton of Cohutta, Stephanie Martin of Calhoun, Toynie Robinson of Tunnel Hill, Jennifer and Conrad Gregory of Dalton; son, Phillip Lamar Sumner, Jr. of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Summerville of Dalton, Martha Gregory of Calhoun, Carolyn and Jack McCutchen of Chatsworth, Mary Sumner and Barbara Sumner, both of Chatsworth, Glenda and Sam Whisenant of Cohutta; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Carol Sumner of Dalton; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at a later date.
