Phillip Alan Ewing, age 45, of Dalton, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.
Phillip was many things in his life. He was a devout Christian, a loving husband, and he devoted his life to being the best daddy ever. He was a terrific son, endearing and kind brother and brother in-law, a fun Poppy, and a crazy uncle. He was an inspiration and leader to many, a mentor, a tutor, and a friend to all. He was a martial artist and 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He was a constant smile in a room full of frowns, a contagious laugh in a silent time, a ray of light in a sea of darkness, and most of all, he was a one of a kind! His daughter, Olivia, was the light of his life, but he also loved his family, his job, his church, the Yueyang families, technology, music, and whatever sport his daughter was playing.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Mullins Ewing; daughter, Olivia Cosette ZiLing Ewing; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Amy and Ryan Fowler of Cohutta; mother, Sharon Fullmer of Largo, FL; father and step-mother, Michael and Theresa Ewing of Newnan, Ga; mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Audrey Mullins of Dawnville; grandmother, Shirley Ewing of Louisville, KY; sister and brother-in-law, Sonya and Randy Jackson of Sachse, TX brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Emily Ewing of Palmetto, Ga; two grandchildren, Bo and Gabe Fowler
