Patsy's Story

Mrs. Pasty Caldwell Baker, 80, of Panama City, Fla., and formally of Resaca, departed this life Wednesday, March 29, 2017, peacefully at her home.
Patsy was born Aug. 27, 1936, in Resaca, a daughter to the late Roy and Myrtle Caldwell of Resaca. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, David "Hook" Baker; sisters, Kathrine Meadows, Ruth Roberts, Retha Farmer, Mickie Adams; a brother; JC Caldwell; mother and father in-law, Oscar and Alice Baker.
Patsy loved spending time with all her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and her late husband David Baker owned and operated Baker's Service Station and Wrecker Service in Calhoun for over 50 years.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law; Debbie Hyde, Reba and Ron Hanson; grandchildren, Pepper and Hubert Pascal, Pipper Telker and Tarqi, Heath and Amanda Hyde; great-grandchildren, Seth and Labin Hyde, Bella and Lily Telker, all residents of Panama City, Fla., as well as a brother-in-law; Edgell Farmer; numerous nieces and nephews,
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Patsy Baker are today at 1 p.m. at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Mitch Phillips officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Fain Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today after 10 a.m.
