Mary Ann's Story
Mrs. Mary Ann Novak Parker, 74, of Chatsworth, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
Mrs. Parker was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church. She was retired from Shaw Industries after 41 years of employment.
She was preceded in death by her husband, McKinley Parker; parents, Frank and Lorraine Novak.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Frank Hall, Wesley and Kayla Tanksley, all of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Jamie Collins, Kelly and Donnie Flood, Judy and Mont Boling, all of Chatsworth, and Kathy Hall of Dalton; grandchildren, Derek Chapman, Daniel Flood, Joshua Flood, Frankie Hughes, Kaleb Boling, Dekota Boling, Erik Hughes, Danielle Chapman, Ashleigh Hall, Sarah Tanksley, Jordan Tanksley and Amber Key; great-grandchildren, Gage Chapman, Hope Cochran, Shayla Hughes, Dylan Flood, Jeffery Smith, Lexus Flood, Ellie Flood, Noah Flood, Lilly Flood, Landrie Owenby, Kristen Brown and Peyton Walden; great-great grandchild, Aubree Harris.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Parker are Saturday at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. William Silvers, the Rev. Mitchell McDougle, Brother Dekota Boling and the Rev. Donnie Flood officiating. Interment will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Peeples Funeral Home.
