Joann Clark Kalish, 73, of Dalton, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2017. She was born on Oct. 10, 1943, in Albany. Joann was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Revell Mercer.
She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Bill Kalish of Dalton; daughter, Stacy Clark Page, and son-in-law, Mr. Stacy of Dalton; grandson, Austin Page, who was the love of her life; sister, Alice Faye Allcorn of Oneonta, Ala.; and her favorite niece, Valerie Allcorn of Oneonta, Ala. A special thank you to Mildred Clark Raper and Kealious Clark of Albany for visiting and helping through her time of sickness.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Joann Clark Kalish will be held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Mullinax officiating. Interment will be at New Hope-Kilgore Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Page, Todd Kalish, Kurt Kalish, Walt Molyneaux, David Hambrick and Lee Johnson.
