Janet Ann Botts Stover, 75, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, in a Chattanooga health care facility. She was the daughter of the late James and Annie Mae Botts and was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Stover, and her step-father, Hoyt McAlister.
Mrs. Stover retired as a bank teller working at CNS Bank in Dalton, 1st National of Dalton and Dalton Federal. She retired early to take care of her sister-in-law. She was a member of Flint Springs Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Carla Coleman and her husband, Ron, of Ooltewah, Sandra Elder and her husband, Robert, of Adairsville; her son, Carl David Stover and his wife, Sabrina, of Cleveland; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two on the way; her brothers, Eddie Botts and his wife, Connie, of Cleveland, Julian Botts and his wife, Sharon, of Cleveland, Wayne McAlister and his wife, Alana, of Knoxville; her sister, Sue Brannon and her husband, Jeff, of El Paso Texas; several nieces and nephews.
A remembrance of life memorial service will be held at 1 o'clock on Tuesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, North Ocoee Street Chapel, in Cleveland, Tenn., with the Rev. Mark Flynn officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
