November 21, 1944 - August 04, 2018

James Ray Stafford, age 73, of Cohutta and formerly of Rock Spring, GA, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his home.
He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Pearl Stafford; brothers, Buddy and Gary Stafford; sister, Willie Lee Stafford Corbin; Step Mother, Dimple Anderson Stafford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Beverly Worley Stafford; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Amanda Stafford of Rock Spring; daughter, Jamie Stafford Clark of Ringgold; four grandchildren; USMC Staff Sergeant Chance (Samantha) Clark of San Clemente, CA, Courtney (Tim) Canarela of Chattanooga, Kenna and Lilly Stafford of Rock Spring; five great-grandchildren; former son-in-law, Bobby Clark of Ringgold, special friends Randall and Joann Moss of Calhoun, other relatives also survive.
The funeral service to honor the life of James will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Darey Kittle and Rev. Bill Walker officiating.
Burial will be in the United Memorial Gardens.

Is this the James that worked at Collins and Aikman? We worked together there back in the 70's and I really enjoyed working with him.
