Mr. Glenn Ray Peden, 78, of Cohutta, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at his daughter's residence in Chatsworth.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Peden; parents, Wade and Lenora Stinnett Peden; and sister, Sue Peden Little.
Mr. Peden is survived by son, Terry Peden of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Daniel Kendrick of Chatsworth; four stepchildren; grandchildren, Brittany and Matthew Crow of Lawrenceville, Brianne Kendrick of Adairsville, Kailey Kendrick of Chatsworth, Glenn Peden and John Peden, both of Brunswick; stepgrandchildren; great-grandchildren, Aiden Crow and Grayson Crow of Lawrenceville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dimple Hodges of Dalton, Nita and Bob Chase of Cohutta, Joann and Doyle Young of Chattanooga, Tenn.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Judy Peden, Jerry and Joy Peden, all of Cohutta; and special friend, Donna Terry of Crandall.
Funeral service for Mr. Glenn Peden will be today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with the Rev. Matthew Crow, the Rev. Mike Little and the Rev. John Bagley officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post 167. The family received friends on Thursday at the funeral home.
