David E. Lynch, 69, of LaFollette, Tenn., passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2017.
He was a retired school teacher after 35 years of service, a former Campbell County School Board member and a member of Glade Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lynch; parents, Carter and Edna Gray Lynch; brother, Tom Lynch; sister, Jean Copeland.
Survivors include sons, Wes Lynch and Matthew Lynch; grandchildren, Emily, Anna and Max Lynch; brothers and sisters-in-law, James "Bud" Lynch and wife, Betty, Jack Lynch and wife, Michelle; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Wells, Elizabeth and James Kuenzli; Kathy Wilson and Dennis; several nieces and nephews.
Services are Tuesday at 7 p.m. at at Cross-Smith Chapel in LaFollette with the Rev. Chris Stanley officiating.
Interment is Wednesday at 11 a.m. at at Powell Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cross-Smith Funeral Home
