Mr. Beecher "Ray" Miolen, 85, of Dalton passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at his residence with his loving family at his side.
Ray was a veteran of the Korean War and a Bronze Star recipient. He served in the United States Army and proudly served his country.
His parents, Arthur M. and Nora Lou; and brothers and sisters, Homer, Fred, Cleastin, Izell, Hoke, Ruby and Kermit preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Harris Miolen of the residence; their son, Terence "Terry" Ray of Flintstone; their daughter, Christina "Chrissie" Elizabeth Pritchett of Ringgold; their five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; countless nieces, nephews and friends.
Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobbie Tatum, the Rev. Chester Edwards and the Rev. Michael Douglas officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Alex Lawhon officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
Viewing will be on Saturday from noon to 1:30 p.m.
